Wisdom from the Studio Job Site

sound1

1. Copper wire bends and bends and bends then
Breaks without warning though not without expectation
We test its limits, hoping it will sustain
We test its limits, hoping we can restrain
Before it breaks, before it’s broken
Before that’s it, before we say shit

2. It’s a good plan, until it’s not
Where it fails forward or goes
Back to the beginning that is
No longer there.

3. Shadows over shadows. Layers of lesser
Clarity. Sounds do not care about the loitering
Dark. They fear a different god hiding in plain
Sight. A god of pliability and giving who doesn’t
Give back.
